Spiritual blessings in Christ

Ephesians 1:3-6 God blesses us by predestining all who surrender this world and pursue the gift of heaven through Christ, to an eternity freed from imperfection and restoration. Therefore, live for god and bring as many people to Christ so that they may also receive God's gift of salvation.

Doing good to all

Galatians 6: 1 - 10 If you see a friend caught in sin, as a Christian you must help and restore him/her. Because by doing so you are fulfilling the law of Christ. Don't sow for your selfish desires but sow to please the spirit because from the spirit we can reap eternal life.

Freedom in Christ

Galatians 5: 1 - 15 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. We are now free from the binding of the law and the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. We were called to be free however do not use this grace as an opportunity to indulge yourself in sinful nature; rather serve one another in law.

Sons of God

Galatians 3: 26 - 29 and 4: 1 - 7 We are all sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We all have been clothed with Christ because we have been baptized into Christ. With Jesus' birth it redeemed us whom were under the law so that we might receive the full rights of sons, as heirs. God sent the spirit of his son into our hearts therefore we are no longer slaves to the law but sons which makes us heirs to his promise.

Faith or observance of the law / The law and the promise

Galatians 3:1 - 29 The law was given to show that all humanity was held under the bondage of sin however, through this passage we are able to see how the law and the promise work in harmony to fulfill the purpose of God The law condemns us under its curse but the promise lifts us up in christ. In the end we are left with no exit under the condemnation of the law so that we might find our freedom only by faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, our application is to simply find our way only through Jesus Christ.

No other Gospel

Galatians 1: 6 - 10 Don't listen to false teachings of the bible. Whatever has been preached to you, if it doesn't come straight from the bible don't listen. Be wary of false teachings as there are many who bend and manipulate the word in order to satisfy their selfish beliefs.

Wrestling with sin

Ephesians 6:10 - 20 Don't run away from sin. Instead, fight it. As we love God we also need to know to hate sin. Because sin is what taints our eyes from what we see to what we do.

Children and parents

Ephesians 6: 1 - 4 Obey your parents for this is right. Honor your father and mother for it is the first commandment.

No confidence in the flesh

Philippians 3: 1 - 11 Don't put confidence in what you alone can do because everything is done through God's will. Our bodies are mere catalysts for gods works to be done and not something that we boast or take confidence in.

Do everything without grumbling

Philippians 2:12 - 18 Do everything without complaint or bitterness so that you may become blameless and pure. Without fault you can shine amongst men as you hold the word of life to your heart. And upon Christ’s return you may be glorified and boast that you did not run the labour in vain.

Imitating Christ's Humility

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others over yourself. Therefore to apply this don't be selfish and think only about yourself but learn to care and think of others whether it be your family, friends or strangers.
